It's a New Year!

Ok it's a new year and I have a lot that I want to do. I am going to try and eat healthier and make sure that my family does the same. I need to find some way of developing a reliable exercise routine. It would be nice to get a part time job just to say that I'm still a nurse(and have some extra cash!), although I am loving staying at home. I have to figure out a way to get my husband to take more time off...he works so hard! Will is going to start piano lessons and Tommy is going into gymnastics to get rid of all of his excess energy.

I am also toying with the idea of starting up a small business teaching prenatal classes. My edge would be that I would be willing to teach in people's homes for those that are too busy to make it to hospital courses or those moms who are stuck at home on bed rest. Hmmmm...just thinking about it....see what happens. I have a TON of projects I want to work on around the house and drag Byron into with me. Here's a list:

-Painting the bathroom cabinets and putting up beadboard in there.
-Putting up faux paneling in Max's room that has still not been painted.
-Learning how to sew my own pillows and window treatments. Got a new sewing machine from mom and dad for Christmas. I already did one in the kitchen but it didn't require sewing, just fabric fusion tape. LOVE IT! Here's a pic...I know it could be better.

-Paint my bedroom and maybe the bedside tables.
-Do a remake of the old light box from the kitchen and make it into a headboard.
-We'll get to all of the yard work when spring rolls around.

Plus, I need to do better at just documenting all of the changes life throws at myself and my family, hence the blog since I can't keep a journal to save my life! Didn't even do baby books for the kids(BAD, BAD, mom!). Ok, now I've put all of my New Year's goals down and hopefully it will make me commit to actually DOING-IT!
